This beautiful APHA mare has it all. Lucky is safe, sound and sensible. She is an excellent trail horse that loves to go places. She has been ridden in the mountains, through the streams, and up and down the hills. She has a bold personality, but is gentle and kind. When she was just a three year old, I rode her all over Yosemite Valley. She was curious and inquisitive, but stayed calm. Curious, inquisitive and calm, qualities she still exhibits in new surroundings. Lucky has had one foal, a stunning palomino Tovero filly, named ‘Super Hot Toddie’ by ‘Super Far Out'. Toddie won High Point Weanling Filly in Halter in 1997 from the NCPHC and won Reserved Over All Champion Mare at the Shasta County District Fair. The judge said she had a policy not to place a weanling as champion, The following year, as a yearling, she won the Over All Champion Mare at the Fair. Lucky’s sire is ‘Ima Snuffy Gambler’. He has a Superior in Halter and Performance and is a multiple World Champion producer. With Lucky’s exceptional breeding, strong ability to produce color, and great temperament, she is an outstanding broodmare. Lucky has been shown in Halter, English pleasure, and English Equitation. She won the year end awards in Amateur Hunt Seat Equitation from the NCPHC in 1999. Lucky is a wonderful mare. She will make someone very happy and proud as a trail horse in the mountain and valleys, or as a producer of champion Paint horse babies.
